The Westcountry Wedding Awards are Devon and Cornwall’s most prestigious awards for Customer Service Excellence.

The Westcountry Wedding Awards recognise those businesses which go the extra mile for their customers. Our previous Brides and Grooms were asked to vote and anonymously assess the Commitment, Service, Quality and Value for Money that we offer. Four judges from the Wedding Industry then looked at our work and website and chose Captured Moments as the Winner.

"Sally & Keith pulled out all the stops to ensure they were able to attend our Christmas wedding on Dartmoor. Unprecedented early snowfall for over fifty years had meant treacherous driving conditions. In the days running up to the wedding, they regularly kept in contact with ourselves and the hotel. They wanted to make sure that if there was another snow fall how they were going to manage transporting all their equipment to the venue. At no point was cancelling ever an option for them. We were blessed with the most amazing film footage not only due to the snow but the attention to detail. All the special elements which had taken months to organise were included in our footage. Nothing was forgotten. At no time was Keith and his team intrusive. They were so professional. Words can’t thank them enough."

"Keith and his team were Brilliant. It was great to be invited to his house to discuss our wedding and how we would like it videoed with Keith and his wife. He gave us lots of tips and advice on how to make the video perfect. On the day the team were very discreet and caught every special moment of the day. We received all our DVDs soon after our honeymoon. Watching it back brought tears to our eyes on how beautiful the day was and we will treasure it forever. It is so nice even to watch our highlight DVD with the music we picked ourselves. “Keith and his team were incredible, not only on the wedding day but also in the lead up to the wedding. Before the wedding Keith answered all my e-mails within the day and met up with us just before the wedding. In the meeting he gave us some tips and hints which helped as he has done so many weddings. On the wedding day itself you wouldn’t have even know they were there. Keith had 3 videographers who disappeared into the background but got the most amazing footage. When we received the DVD it was better than I could have even imagined it to be. We had so many copies so were able to give them to family. The highlight DVD still makes me cry despite having watched it probably 100 times. From the first phone call I made to enquire about his services, he was calm, friendly, open and honest - all qualities that gave me the confidence to go with him. Through his reassuring manner, it was clear from the outset that he was committed to creating a film of our wedding day that would capture a11 those important moments while observing from a discreet distance. On the day, he and his team were always present but never intrusive or overt in their work. In fact, thanks to his thorough briefing before the event, at no point did we need to waste time conferring on the day which was fantastic - we got on with our wedding and he and his team got on with the job of filming it.
The DVDs he created of our wedding were of excellent quality, beautifully presented and well edited providing a true representation of the day. Our wedding day seemed to be over in a flash so it's lovely to be able to sit back and watch it all over again. Captured Moments provided us with several copies of our wedding DVD this included 3 full versions (2 hours) and approx 15 highlights DVD's (10 mins), we absolutely love the highlights DVD it's better than all expectations and we just can't stop watching it!
It's been really good to show family and friends as well as those who couldn't attend the wedding. The highlight's DVD has been edited really well with black and white clips and music making it really entertaining. On the day the camera crew seemed to blend into the background providing an efficient service. The DVD's are high quality which is a testament to the time and effort Keith puts into producing them.
I found it useful to look at his website which is very clear and easy to navigate, it also gave us an opportunity to look at other weddings he has completed.
Keith's pricing is very reasonable providing excellent value for money. We would highly recommend this to anyone who is getting married, it is said that a picture speaks a thousand words - well this is ten times better! "
